Fairy Lily stamps, Vietnam
Vietnam post issued a set of stamps featuring “fairy lily”. Indigenous to the Western Hemisphere, Fairy lily are petite members of the amaryllis family. They are clump-forming perennials which are small at first, but over several seasons will increase nicely.
Fairy lily is easy little bulbs to cultivate, standing about 9 inches tall. It is also a popular house plant. It bears linear, hollow, strap-shaped or grass-like leaves. The solitary flowers consisting of 6 pointed petals, borne on a short scape are delicate and flourish throughout the rainy season, especially after heavy showers. A good garden soil is suitable and a sunny or semi-shady environment.
It is useful as a border plant in front of the shrubberies and can decorate windows when in shallow pots or bowls.

USA, 2009
Held in large cities and small towns, Thanksgiving Day parades have been an important part of the Thanksgiving holiday tradition since the early 20th century. In 2009 the U.S. Postal Service joins the parade with the issuance of four stamps featuring iconic scenes of a Thanksgiving Day parade: A lively marching band led by a flamboyant drum major, large colorful balloons shaped like favorite animals and characters, a lasso-twirling cowboy and, of course, delighted spectators gathered on the sidewalk to watch. The stamps were designed by artist Paul Rogers of Pasadena, CA.
Holiday Evergreens Forever

In 2010, the U.S. Postal Service joins in the winter celebrations by issuing Evergreens, beautiful new stamps that feature close-up views of the foliage and cones of four different conifers: ponderosa pine, eastern red cedar, blue spruce, and balsam fir.
King & Queen of Hearts - Love Series Postage
Name: King and Queen of Hearts
Issuance Year: 2009
Description
The U.S. Postal Service pays clever tribute to the world's favorite "game" with the issuance of the King and Queen of Hearts, the latest stamps in the Love series.
Throughout history, many people have commented on the sporting aspect of romance. The game of love draws on elements of luck, strategy--such as the bluff--and skill.
As the English poet John Donne wrote, love is "got by chance" but "kept by art." With all its risks and pleasures, love is sure to keep writers busy for a long time to come. And with these stamps, love letters and other correspondence will have a delightful, playful touch.

Production
This fine art print is created using high-quality paper and printing to produce a vivid and detailed reproduction.
Pronounced "jhee-clay", gicleé is an inkjet printing method from a large format printer. It merges the use of eight pigment inks that are fade resistant and archival.
We use all quality materials when framing your artwork. We start by drymounting your image to foam board so the print won't have any waves or creases. After the drymount process we lay plexi-glass that is 1/8" thick on top of the art then secure it into the frame. To finish the framed piece we tape a dust cover on the back.
